Castiglioni still retains a large part of its original defensive structure, recently restored and dating back to the early fifteenth century, consisting of the mighty bastion walls and the two access doors. The south gate was rebuilt in neoclassical forms.
The ramparts of the fortified village of Castiglioni, in Marche, dates back to 1400, as weel as the access door transformed in a bell tower.
The St. Agata Church, from the fifteenth century, opens itself on the principal square of the village and represent an excellence of Art that express the province of Ancona.
Inside the church are exposed some works of Ramazzani and Bruno d'Arcevia.
