The fortified village of Loretello:
The castle, built on the territory of Arcevia in the eleventh century, by the Friars Camaldolesi from Fonte Avellana.
The access door is provided with a steep bridge, from the opposite part of the entrance there is a majestic circular defensive tower used to control the surrounding hills of Marche.
The extension of the castle was initially limited to the top of the hill, the knoll, on which Loretello stands today. The subsequent extensions, and the current layout, date from the end of the fourteenth century to the beginning of the fifteenth century.
More recently, in 1920, the castle suffered the demolition of the walls, in the northern part, to facilitate access to the inhabited area of the new municipal road
Inside the ramparts of the castle is set up a collection of objects and tools of the rural culture ,and a Mevieval and African museum, feature of the province of Ancona..
The church of St. Giovanni Evangelista dates back to 1600, where visitors can admirea collection of canvas from 1500.
Outward the ramparts there is the St. Andrea church, from the Medieval ages, where we can find works of Ramazzani e Pandolfi.
